Softball Champs: At the July 10 Town Board meeting, Supervisor Paula Mahan, center, and the Town Board  presented a proclamation to the Colonie Crossfire 14 and Under Softball Team in honor of its June win of the 2014 District 7 Amateur Softball Association Fastpitch Softball New York State Championship.  Town Board members, back row from left, are David Green, David Rowley, William Carl, Linda Murphy, Brian Haak, and Paul Rosano.

Update: Colonie Crossfire won the Eastern National World Series and are national champions for the 14 and under Division. They played 15 games in 5 days in Salisbury, Maryland, including 5 games in a row on one day. Congratulations Colonie Crossfire!

International Dialogue: Supervisor Paula Mahan met with a delegation from Kosovo on June 26.  The group of urban planning and development officials visited the Capital Region through the Open World Program, a U.S. exchange program with post-Soviet countries.   Political and civic leaders are selected for delegations through a competitive vetting process.
